Today is the day to sign up for your License to Carry class near Montgomery, Texas. This class is taught by Texas Department of Public Safety certified instructors and will give you everything that you need to be able to apply for your Texas LTC. Topics covered in this course will include Firearms Safety, Non-violent dispute resolution, use of Deadly Force and Proper handling and storage of a firearm among others. If you are a Texas resident or non-resident, over the age of 21 and legally allowed to carry a firearm then this course is for you.

The NRA Basics of Pistol Shooting Course teaches the fundamentals of shooting. Students will cover topics such as gun safety, range commands and firearm cleaning and storage. This course offers instructor-led classroom instruction and range time for the beginner or experienced shooter to build or refresh foundational skills with their personal firearm.
This course is divided into two phases. The NRA offers an online program allowing you to learn the Basics of Pistol Shooting from the comfort of your home without worrying about time and scheduling conflicts. The second phase consists of live firing exercises on the range.
The License to Carry (LTC) class is a mandated class that must be taken in order to carry a weapon, either openly or concealed, in the state of Texas. This class is not designed to teach you how to shoot. You are expected to know how to safely operate and shoot your weapon prior to taking this course.
The NRA Concealed Carry Weapon’s Class is the perfect course to help you hone your skills and continue to grow as a shooter. The LTC class is just the beginning of your firearms training.
