This Texas DPS approved online License to Carry (LTC) class provides the mandated Texas Department of Public Safety classroom training needed for obtaining your Texas LTC. This online LTC class is only 4 hours in length, not including the written exam (multiple choice/true/false test) and the shooting portion. Watch our videos online from any computer, smartphone or tablet no matter where you are. You can watch as little or as much of the class as you want since your progress is saved as you complete each segment. This gives you all the flexibility you need when deciding when, where, and how you want to take the class.

The NRA Basics of Pistol Shooting Course teaches the fundamentals of shooting. Students will cover topics such as gun safety, range commands and firearm cleaning and storage. This course offers instructor-led classroom instruction and range time for the beginner or experienced shooter to build or refresh foundational skills with their personal firearm.
This course is divided into two phases. The NRA offers an online program allowing you to learn the Basics of Pistol Shooting from the comfort of your home without worrying about time and scheduling conflicts. The second phase consists of live firing exercises on the range.
The License to Carry (LTC) class is a mandated class that must be taken in order to carry a weapon, either openly or concealed, in the state of Texas. This class is not designed to teach you how to shoot. You are expected to know how to safely operate and shoot your weapon prior to taking this course.
The NRA Concealed Carry Weapon’s Class is the perfect course to help you hone your skills and continue to grow as a shooter. The LTC class is just the beginning of your firearms training. The next step is to become proficient and confidant with your firearm. This class will help you achieve these goals.
