Looking for a License to Carry class in Montgomery, Texas that you can do in your spare time? We offer a quick, convenient opportunity to obtain your Texas License to Carry permit. This course incorporates all of the requirements needed to obtain your Texas LTC and can be done at your convenience from any laptop, tablet or smartphone. All Texas residents and non-residents, age 21 and older and legally allowed to carry a firearm are eligible to take this course. Some of the topics that will be covered include Firearms Safety, Non-violent dispute resolution, use of Deadly Force and Proper handling and storage of a firearm among others. Upon completion of this course and the live fire shooting proficiency test you will be eligible to apply for your Texas LTC.

The NRA Basics of Pistol Shooting Course teaches the fundamentals of shooting. Students will cover topics such as gun safety, range commands and firearm cleaning and storage. This course offers instructor-led classroom instruction and range time for the beginner or experienced shooter to build or refresh foundational skills with their personal firearm.
This course is divided into two phases. The NRA offers an online program allowing you to learn the Basics of Pistol Shooting from the comfort of your home without worrying about time and scheduling conflicts. The second phase consists of live firing exercises on the range.
The License to Carry (LTC) class is a mandated class that must be taken in order to carry a weapon, either openly or concealed, in the state of Texas. This class is not designed to teach you how to shoot. You are expected to know how to safely operate and shoot your weapon prior to taking this course.
